If you have set your heart on a timeless portrait of your beloved pet, this is the page to come to. If my commissions are currently open, please contact me so we can take the first steps to arrange a fully bespoke pet portrait. If they are currently closed, I’d be happy to add your name to my waiting list and email you when spaces reopen.
So what is the process?
When you contact me, it would help if you had a rough idea of the portrait that you are hoping for and the number of pets that you want drawn. I will give you a rough time of when I will be working on your portrait. At this point, a 30% deposit will be due to secure your slot.
This is the time to capture the perfect photograph of your pet. There is a handy photo guide to help you capture the perfect picture. Just before work begins on your portrait, I will contact you to help you select the perfect shot, and together we will decide the layout and overall appearance of your portrait. Once the portrait is complete, I will send you a photo of the portrait to ensure that it includes everything you requested. Once you are satisfied, the remaining balance will become due.
What will I get with my portrait?
All portraits come mounted in a fully archival frame, ready to be popped straight into a frame of your choice. They arrive sealed in a cellophane bag for their protection while waiting to be framed. You will also receive a certificate of authenticity, care instructions for your artwork and postage within the United Kingdom. Postage to non-UK regions can be arranged, but there may be additional costs/taxes/tariffs, etc. Please contact me to discuss any additional requirements.
What if I want additional copies of my portrait or to share it on social media?
I love nothing more than seeing clients share photographs of their portraits. To help facilitate this, all portraits will include a social media-optimised image for you to share. Should you require additional copies of your portrait to share with loved ones, we have partnered with one of the UK’s top Giclée printers. As a member of The Fine Arts Trade Guild, they use UV-stable archival inks and papers and produce prints of the highest gallery quality. The additional cost will depend on both the size and quantity required.
